Your pooch may need to stay at The Dog Clinic Taroona’s hospital branch for a day stay for a variety of reasons, from routine procedures, emergency surgeries, or supportive care when they are unwell.
Our aim is to provide a calm and restful hospital environment with the use of Adaptil’s soothing pheromones. Adaptil is a synthetic version of the hormone whelping mothers release to keep their litters calm. Both our Sandy Bay and Taroona clinics use room diffusers in reception and the consultation rooms.
Before our patients arrive in the morning, our surgical and hospital nurses prepare the hospital cages by spraying Adaptil on the bedding and allowing it to settle.
You can follow Avilly Paws on Facebook and order products here:
Our patients are discharged at the end of the day with their very own Bravery Bandana, which has been sprayed with Adaptil during their stay to relieve anxiety.
